And So It Begins…

For the next week I will be preparing to open a show that I am in and n0t directing so most of my pics may come from here since I will be spending most of my time here. It’s been about 8 months since I performed in my last show so I was starting to get that bug again. Tech week, or hell week as it is affectionately called, is much different for me as an actor than as a director. As an actor, I actually like this week and look forward to it, even if I am running on sheer energy. There is something about watching the set, which we only spaced out during rehearsals, take shape and materialize before our eyes. This is a shot of backstage looking out onto the stage from the stage managers booth. One of my other favorite things as an actor is that feeling I get when I am driving to the theater knowing that I will be performing in the show that evening. There is just something about that time that really starts to get the adrenaline flowing. We’ll see how things flow this week, and how much hell we deal with. Hopefully, it won’t be that bad.
