Weekly Photo Challenge: Free Spirit

Evening Glow

This weeks challenge required a lot of thought on my part.  And for the first few days since it was published, I wondered if I would be able to capture my idea of free spirit.  But when I saw the sky tonight, nothing could be more clearer to me.  Those of you who have followed me for awhile now, know how much I love the sky.  To me the sky is a blank canvas that is filled regularly with masterpieces.  While we can talk about science, and refraction and water particles, etc., there is only one artistic way to describe it.  And it is completely free and is simply beautiful.  And to me that is free spirit.  It is simply a thing of beauty.  September 4, 2012
