Fawn Mower

Fawn On the Lawn

It was a crazy day today and somehow I hadn’t really found anything worthwhile to shoot. In fact, I was feeling very uninspired today and I was worried I wouldn’t have anything worthwhile to post.  But somehow, fate intervenes.  As I was wallowing in my pity, I turned into my driveway, and there on my yard, was a doe and her two fawn.  They were frozen as I drove up and I thought grab the camera and who knows.  So I did and I shot as I walked, well more like crept, closer to them.  I managed to get within 10 yards of this one before it took off.  It was just so amazing how I could go from uninspired to excited again in a matter of moments.  August 24, 2012
