You feel a Draft?

Driving through Thurmont on 15 it is near impossible to miss this house that sits on top of a hill overlooking the valley and mountains.  As I drove by today, I decided to get a closer view since I have wanted to do it for a long time now.  With the sky the way it was and the grass as green, it just looked majestic (although I do believe some think it’s an eye sore.) But what really struck me was the entire first floor with all the windows blow out. Almost looked like it was on stilts, like a beach house, only if water gets up to that point we better have an ark.  August 23, 2012
