Reflecting Pool

Must be an Oasis

I did my first on location family portrait session today. And I have to say that I really enjoyed it.  It doesn’t hurt that the family are friends, but there was still something a little nerve wracking about  going to them. Truth be told, I highly recommend it, especially when there are a number of possible shot backdrops.  In fact, after we finished at the house we went out to the battle field and grabbed some shots by the monuments.  It provided an excellent backdrop.  This is Mackenzie, and I took this while she was at the top of the slide that deposits them into the pool below.  In fact, you can actually see the pool in her glasses which is why I chose to post this today.  It wasn’t my intention to get that in her glasses, but as I reviewed the shots I was pleasantly surprised to see he pool in the reflection.  August 13, 2012
