Old stone houses always capture my attention. Especially ones that have some historical background (or at least look like they should.) Living on the outskirts of one of the main battlefields of the civil war, most of the older houses served at least as some sort of hospital, Inn, headquarters, tavern, or shoppe. But there is just something else so appealing about these structures. Maybe it’s just the quality craftsmanship that has allowed them to stand the test of time or the unique style. Whatever it is, I am certainly glad that we are not in short supply of them. August 9, 2012
