Rainbow at Knight

Leftovers

I am pretty sure my lens is the cause of this rainbow, because I did not see it when I took the show, and in fact it is not present in any of the follow-up shots.  I shot this today because I was really liking the shadow being cast from the setting sun. Even if they are decorations left over from the school year. (I am pretty impressed that they are still up and in good condition this long into the summer!) But I have to be honest, the rainbow won me over.  It was a pretty gray day all day today, so when the sun broke free late this afternoon, the humidity and the temperature both climbed quick.  With pretty much the last 3 days being rain outs it was nice to have some sun.  Maybe it was all the humidity in the air and the angle of the sun, but regardless how it was created, I am glad that it looks as good as it does.
