Corner View

Window Screens

NYC Day 3 and once again I only have had time for a quick jaunt out around lunch, but today’s lunch shot proved to be another fun one. Sometimes it just pays to be lucky, even though no one is paying me for these pictures. But I was standing at a light and I saw a this building that had some interesting pictures be scrolled on their giant display, so I started taking some shots. When I looked at them, this shot just really made me stop to examine and figure out everything that was going on in it. I love the fact that it is on a corner and that I have the Broadway street sign looking like its being reflected up onto the window. But I also love all the other little details, especially the union jack flag in the apartment window. It’s just shots like this that make me really love the city and how details at such an important part. July 10, 2012
