It took a little longer than I had thought it would to get a shot for this weeks challenge, but I am glad I waited. These two boys were enjoying each others company so much while waiting for their mom to come from the snack shack. I watched at least 4 hugs happen between them, as the younger boy really looked up to his big brother. It was very touching, because at some point the dynamic will likely change as it has with my own boys. While they get along well, when they do get along, the times are few and far between and I am more often then not breaking up fights. Still, knowing how my relationship with my own brothers has become more like friends, the outlook isn’t quite so bad. June 14, 2012

It is wonderful to see siblings displaying close bonds of friendship too. My 3 sons and 2 Grandies are also good friends, but wow! They can fight too 🙂

Thanks, I’m fortunate(?) enough to have one girl as well, but she has no problem getting in there and throwing her weight around to, despite the fact that she’s the youngest. But I know that when it comes down to it, her brothers will protect her if she ever needs it. It’s rather comforting to know it.

What a beautiful photo! For some reason the song Stand By Me came to mind. It totally describes this image.
Thank you so much for including me in your list! Kay 😉

Thank you so much for the kind words! Now that you mention it, that’s all I hear now too! Almost wish I would have thought of that as my subtitle 🙂
