We have been under a tornado watch all day (and continue to be) and a severe thunderstorm warning. The skies have been ominous and the rain, at times, torrential. Mother Nature is bringing June in with a huge bang. In fact, just a couple of hours before this we actually had a tornado touch down near us. It’s been a rather interesting day if you ask me. Seeing this on the way home, though, brought it all to reality. It is just an amazing sight to drive all the way home and watch the clouds just completely swallow up the mountains and everything in its path. I am glad I was able to catch this shot as it was probably the most clearly defining of all the ones I took. And best of all, I can submit this as this weeks topic challenge! June 1, 2012
