Somebody Moved the Mountain

Something’s Missin

Ok so this shot is a little misleading because if I adjusted my angle about 45 degrees there would actually be a great picture of a bunch of trees hiding the mountain view.  So maybe I should reshoot this in November after the leaves have fallen.  But still, when I drove by this today, something just struck me as funny so I wanted to share it.  I know maybe it’s a warped sense of humor, but it still made me laugh today and that is worth remembering.  May 23, 2012

  1. I went to Lakeview Elementary School in Brigham City, Utah, in the 1960s. Nestled in the Uintah Mountains, the closest lake was about 60 miles away. When I visited in 1978 I noticed they changed the name to Mountain View Elementary.
