Moment of Silence

A Second Look

My daughter had a softball game at a park near Baltimore today.  I sat in my chair and as I grabbed my gear to set up for some pictures, I noticed this small memorial next to me.  With the sun shining, the skies clear I adjusted settings and rattled off a few pictures.  When I got home, and as I post this, I googled the name on the memorial and discovered that there are a large number of web pages devoted to him.  As it turns out the memorial belongs to Matthew Snyder, a 20 yr old Marine from the area, who died while in Iraq a few years ago.  But not only that, there happens to be a large national lawsuit that is tied to him which is very intriguing.  If you are interested you can look it up.  May 12, 2012
