Night to Bishop

Not a Garden Ornament

My son had his confirmation this evening, and since it is a pretty big deal, the Bishop of our parish presides over the celebration.  Afterwards he took pictures with each of the new candidates in the garden outside the church.  It was a nice evening, except for the occasional drizzle. The lighting wasn’t the best but I am very happy with what I was able to get with the adjustments I made to the camera.  I really like this shot.  The colors and especially the green foliage soft focused in the background allow his papal headdress to just pop.  May 7, 2012
