The Pits

Filling the Void

It’s the week in between shows and while a part of me misses it, there is a bigger part of me that really likes the quiet of the auditorium when no one is in there. As I walked past the open pit, I saw the score on the music stand and thought that if I could get the angle right it might be a nice shot. Lucky for me it is iPhone Monday as I rattled off a few shots and ended up really liking this one. I tried to capture what the view is like for one of out musicians as they look at the conductor. You can almost fill in the blanks with this one. April 23, 2012
