Magic Genie

Today is the start of the third and final tech week of the year and it’s going to be a long one. While I love directing shows there comes a point where one begins to wonder why? Is it all worth it? And as the week continues to build the questions become louder and the answers more difficult. It’s not until later in the week when the answers become clear and the sacrifices become worth it. But that’s still a few days off, until then bring on the questions.
This is an iPhone shot of the lighting team refocusing an instrument. One of my favorite things to do, aside from directing, is lighting. There is so much one can manipulate and control with lighting. And sometimes it’s more fun to work with instruments that do exactly what you want them to do. :-). April 16,2012
