On Location

Live Remote

We had a news crew outside waiting for us as we exited our work location today.  There seems to be discord among our local government and the local teachers union. You can read about it here, if you really want to.  So to show a stand of solidarity, our staff left work, together, at the end of the day and a couple of news trucks were there ready, aimed and shooting.  By the time I really left, it was down to one van and one solitary camera, probably being used to air a live remote from the location before playing the footage.  In any case, the news van really caught my eye as it was bright white, shiny and with that large trademark colorful peacock emblazoned on the dish.  So I jumped out snapped a few shots from different angles and went on my way.  March 30, 2012
