It’s iPhone Monday (for those who are new to the blog – see this post for an explanation) and it was while I was walking around, inspecting my yard for spring break projects, that I remembered. It was convenient that I had the phone on me because when I looked at this statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, sitting in our garden with the sun running down the middle , I new I wanted to get the shot. The late afternoon long shadows and the freshly green lawn, really makes the statue pop (it also shows that she is in desperate need of a good cleaning.) I also used the HDR setting on the phone so this picture is very vivid, which I think is very nice. I still won’t go anywhere without my Canon, but its nice to have this. PS, on a side note, if anyone knows why my camera (a 7D) is unable to read battery data on any battery I put in to it, I would greatly appreciate it so I can stop worrying. (Just email me or reply if you may know what I need to do to fix it) March 26, 2012
