Mossy Stream

Warm Results

It was another atypical March day with temperatures near 70.  While I will not complain, I can’t help but wonder if this is just a mean trick winter is laying on us.  While I am hoping it isn’t, I will simply take the day for what it was.  Beautiful.  The results of the warm winter can be seen almost anywhere you look.  From lawns that are prematurely green, to the early blooming of tulips and daffodils, to the excessive moss you see on the streams that are at a near stand still, the signs are there.  I shot this, this evening, mainly because of how vibrantly green the build up was.  I also really like the reflection in the water.  Just a great day to be out.  March 7, 2012
