Reflecting Pool

The Melting Season

As I drove home today, I was reminded that Liberty had closed up shop for the season. When I passed the sign with the water ponding in front of it, I thought it would make an interesting subject.  A kind of reflection of this years ski season.  With very little snowfall and above average temperatures, everything that was man made has been running away.  The slopes have just a few patches left on them and the parking lot is empty.  And as seen in the background, golf season is right around the corner.  March 6, 2012
