Tonight was opening night. There is something about opening nights that remind me of how much it really is all worth it. But then again, not really. I kind of save that for closing nights. Opening nights for me are not what they are cracked up to be at all. There are so many details that need to be worked out, and it always seems like I am working on something right up until the house opens. It really is frustrating. No matter how prepared I am, something always needs attention. Tonight was no different, but it still was a successful opening. Even if we did rock the house so hard we blew a fuse, and not just a single fuse, we blew the whole panel. But once I got the peer restored, the cast did a wonderful job of keeping composure and picking up right where they left off. Oh well the magic of theater right? Anyway, we had a dress rehearsal this morning and this was a shot I took of our lead. I was real happy with the lighting and the story being told. March 1, 2012
