Dawn’s Early Lights

Wake Up Call

A wet drive this morning and a simple reminder before I got on to the highway as I headed down to work.  Not the most settling thing to see first thing as you venture out to work, but it definitely is effective even if it wasn’t for an accident.  Whatever they were called for, the simple fact that we came to a crawl in order to pass them was enough to wake up the drowsiest of all drivers.  What I liked about this shot today was not the ambulance lights but really the glow of the amber street light and the reflections of the headlights on the wet pavement.  I don’t really know why, they just have an impact.  Feb 16, 2012
