Under the Skywalk

Liberty is all a buzz this evening as the first real snowflakes of 2012 began to fall late tonight.  Of course, not early enough for it to start while people were there, so they were still resorting to skiing on the fake stuff.  But as of post time, the snow is falling at a very good clip and forecasts call for 3 – 5 inches.  That will easily white out this shot, but since it hadn’t, this black and white still works well with the contrasts.  I really like how quickly a black and white ages a picture.  January 20, 2012
