Take Hold of the Flame

Hot Pockets

Does anyone remember when those VHS tapes that played video of a fireplace or a Fish bowl were so popular?  That was before screen savers.  I took this tonight of our wood stove after I just got it started up, and it made me think back to those days when people would actually buy them.  There was something wrong about them then, and I still think its rather amusing that someone would buy it.  (If you were one I apologize, I am not laughing at you, just with you 🙂  )

I love watching fire dance (in the stove) there is something mesmerizing about it.  And when you stare at this or any other fire shot, images seem to morph from the flames.  I can’t tell you how many different things I see in this one.  So I will leave it to you and your imagination.  January 19, 2012
