Blizzard on the Half Pipe

Black and White Out Conditions

I drove by Liberty again today and caught them blowing snow. It was actually a very bright sunny day when I shot this, but I opted to do a black and white just in case, and I am glad I did because the color ones just didn’t seem to catch the sharp lines of the snow as well.  I love how this shot includes the skiers underneath the blanket of snow and also the chairlift riders submerged in the near blizzard like conditions.  January 18, 2012
