CV Day 343

Close Encounters

I drove by Liberty again tonight to try and follow the progress of the snow making and found that things are going well.  While I was there I took this shot and when I was deciding what I would post, this one jumped out at me.  Even though I took one yesterday of Liberty, I really like this shot.  There is a tree line that runs along the training slope of Liberty.  And with the blowing snow, the lights pierced through the tree line and snow mist ala close encounters.  The glimmers of lights at the top are actually reflections off the lift chairs which I managed to catch.  December 9, 2011
