CV Day 118

Flying Delivery

When I woke this morning we were under a Tornado warning.  On the way to work, I drove through the storm that would cause the twister in Maryland. But by noon, the skies cleared and the sun shined down on the Track and Field Meet at the High School. And I know I have already done a picture of track, but this shot I had to post.

I really like the fact that both runners feet are not even touching the ground and the back runners focus on the handoff. The red track against the green grass really pop thanks to the bright sun, which helped cast the shadow of the runner and highlights both runners giving them a glow.  April 28, 2011
