Shrine On

The statue stands outside the National Shrine for Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton.  Driving home tonight something told me to turn into the loop that runs around the front of the building.  In that loop stands this statue and the glowing cross which proved a little difficult to catch in the dark.  The 2 arches in the back are the entry ways and they were brightly lit, but the area around the statue was pitch black except for the gold cross.  April 8, 2011
