CV Day 63

Fly Through Window

Just off Main street, behind the Main Street Boutique and next to the local library, sits this abandoned house.  With no doubt, what I think would  be, a rich history now is just a vacant, partially boarded up eye sore. One of the local residents didn’t have much knowledge about the place except to say there were some people looking at purchasing it and restoring it.  Leading me to believe that this house dates back into the early 1900’s.  The stone work, which you can see through the decay, is really amazing, and the green window sills only leads one to imagine what the rest may have looked like.  March 4, 2011
