CV Day 12

Snow Day

Today was the first snow day of the year for the school system I work in.  My kids, however, go to our local system, which wasn’t as lucky (see yesterdays post regarding our plow system). I shot this photo this morning as I drove my daughter to school.

Carroll Valley really is Ski Liberty, and our neighboring golf course.  It is what our borough is known for. What better way to spend a snow day, huh?  Last night we received about 3 inches of the fluffy white stuff, which allowed for the white caps on the sign and bushes. There were some flurries in the air and I tried to capture them as well, but with the sun shining I could not figure out the right setting. Jan 12, 2011
